Throttle Time

Hands-on railroad experience

Take the throttle.

Throttle Time gives visitors the opportunity to operate railroad equipment under the supervision of the Silver Creek & Stephenson Railroad crew. For anyone who has ever wanted to sit in the engineer's seat and put a hand on the throttle, this is about as hands-on as railroad history gets.

No special Throttle Time dates are currently planned, but arrangements may be made on normal operating days. Ask a member of the crew for more information.
